Bring: personal yoga mat, hand towel & water

Yoga teacher, Sue Schultze, will guide the class through a gentle yoga practice that blends slow movements & deep stretches that will help increase circulation, improve flexibility and cultivate relaxation.

No previous experience of yoga is necessary. This class is appropriate for all ages and  skill levels from beginners to advanced students.

“Relax and Reconnect” Restorative Yoga Workshop on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.

6:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. – Introduction to Restorative Yoga Talk (included with class; optional to attend)

6:30 pm – 8:45 pm – Workshop

$35 | $32 CAA Member/Active Military

In this workshop, yoga teacher, Sue Schultze, will guide the class through a series of gentle, restorative yoga poses. Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga which utilizes props to make it easier for the body to get into certain poses which are gently sustained for ten minutes. These long and bolstered stretches provide a completely supportive environment for total physical, mental and emotional relaxation. During the restorative yoga workshop, you will be either seated or lying down on your yoga mat.

No previous experience of yoga is necessary. This class is appropriate for all ages and  skill levels from beginners to advanced students. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.

About Sue Schultze:

Sue Schultze is a Restorative and Yin Yoga Teacher who has been practicing yoga since the 70’s.  She received her 200 hour certification in 2011 and has been studying Restorative Yoga with the founder, Judith Hanson Lasater, since 2012. Sue is currently pursuing her 500 hour certification from the Asheville Yoga Center.

Conveniently location in The Market Shops, the Foster Gallery is an artist co-operative led by the Cultural Arts Alliance featuring at least a dozen local artists on a rotating, quarterly basis, special exhibitions and classes.
